I am a taxonomist, and have a deep passion for discovering and naming new species. In my evolving career, I strongly believe  and support all conservation efforts especially for aquatic organisms as these efforts often go unnoticed and unappreciated. In Malaysia, we are beginning to pave a way locally to ensuring that our aquatic organisms and coastal areas are being preserved. As an educator, I advocate data analysis and programming basics for all my students as I believe these skills will help them as they go forward in their conservation journey.
