Join us for an interactive workshop, facilitated by Aspiration, where we’ll collaboratively investigate the concept of a Better Internet, and the values that bring us together, through the lenses below.
We’ve already had a wide combination of stakeholders join conversations, workshops, and shared documents. A small group of us met to identify some lenses with the goal of fostering a deeper shared understanding of the issues and providing structure for beginning work together on them.
These lenses may include:
- Misinformation and Public Health
- Privacy & Security
- Internet Architecture & Open Standards
- Choice, Gatekeepers & Walled Gardens
- Access to Knowledge
- Building Healthy Public Spaces
We encourage you to bring your voice, listening, and expertise. For those who have already taken part, some of what we’re discussing may feel familiar. For all of us, this is the moment when we sit together in the mess and find our direction, principles, and values.
Following the Summit, we intend to work together to convene a community, support and fund projects, and take action to create the messaging and campaigns that will help realize our impact.
These workshops continue the work toward creating an affirmative and inclusive vision for a Better Internet. Ultimately we hope this will lead to a multi-year strategy for working together to strengthen the future of access to knowledge and communication.
** There will be two identical workshops held on the 23rd. Attendance is only required for one. **
