CC Global Summit 2021

As an introduction, we will present a comprehensive map of the consequent chilling effects in Latin America arising from the abusive implementation of the DMCA made by platforms. We will focus on the main proyects happening in the region trying to reduce this said chilling effects and counteract situation where excessive censorship occurs, and how they complemet eachother as a toolkit. This session will share information, resources and advocacy strategies to defend legitimate speech.
