Digital Humanities is still in its infancy in South Africa with many interested individuals still exploring possibilities of integrating novel approaches and methodologies into the classroom and/or their research. As part of our Escalator programme the South African Centre for Digital Language Resources aims to provide a space where an inclusive and active South African community of practice (CoP) in Digital Humanities & Computational Social Science grow and be capacitated. This talk will share specific reflections on how to foster the creation of open educational resources for the CoP.
