The global pandemic of COVID-19 has shown what impact online access to digital cultural heritage content can have on the well-being of our communities, on education as well as other spheres of social life. It inspired the team of Centrum Cyfrowe working within the inDICEs project to create a framework for understanding value and impact of open digital cultural heritage that helps us imagine new ways of (re)using the open online collections of GLAMs, new possible collaborations between the sectors and new ideas for how to encourage GLAMs to open up and share their resources in meaningful ways.
