Ontario Extend is an open access professional learning program for educators at post-secondary institutions in Ontario, Canada. The program is freely available through a creative commons license for global adoption and customization. The program delivers education technology skill development as participants complete six modules and earn the “Empowered Educator” micro-credential. eCampusOntario began offering facilitated sessions to meet the needs of a wider audience, and build stronger communities of practice to connect faculty during the COVID-19 pandemic.
