In recent years, there has been an increase in threatened and actual litigation involving CC licensed works. While CC believes respecting the terms of the license is important, it also believes that enforcement should be reasonable and fair. This session will include various perspectives on the phenomenon around aggressive enforcement of CC licenses, and it will introduce CC’s latest measures to try to mitigate the harm from it, including new license enforcement principles.
