The presentation will discuss our research on orphan works in Latin America. A comparative analysis will seek to account for existing regulatory and institutional differences in the region, in order to favor the exploitation of orphan works in the context of the digitalization of heritage. Additionally, it will seek to know the discourse of creators, civil servants and officials of the heritage sector in the region. We hope that the discussion favors the articulation of networks around the regional discussion of access to orphan works in Latin America
