"LINGUIST305 Writing for Linguists' primary focus is to expose students to discipline-specific writing conventions and give them a context for sharpening their writing and communication skills.

Linguistics research is paired with a video project; the goal is to communicate research findings to a general audience. This project encourages the use of visual narratives to engage in real-life science communication. Following instruction in CC licensing, all student video projects are openly licensed and shared publicly online, engaging students in knowledge production and community conversation."
