The education community is acutely aware of the dire requirement for content that is free to reuse and adapt. This presentation highlights the strategies used by teachers in Goa, India as part of a state initiative to curate and co-create resources that are not only contextualized but also licensed under a Creative Commons license. There is a rigorous review process at various levels before the content is uploaded on the national portal. The presentation also brings to the fore the experiences and perceptions of various stakeholders on collaborative creation of CC licensed content.
