New organizations on the open web are tackling issues of digital enclosures head on. From libraries and digital information access to the pursuit of better digital public space, data, and infrastructure, these communities believe that the internet can be a robust global commons built on shared values. Together, we are taking action to make change.
As leaders of new organizations seeking to promote equitable access, Alek Tarkowski and Jennie Rose Halperin will facilitate a conversation and support a community of practice on new challenges and opportunities in the "big open movement."
